I always stick mine in the freezer for between 10 - 30 minutes and it pops right out, no mess, no fuss.

Are you a freezer type, or a poke a knife in and wiggle it about type?

I am a freezer type because my daddy always warned me about sharp knives, with good cause, being the cack handed eejit that I am.

well sometimes they crack round the edges and just pop out easily. Other times i light them for a few mins and slide them out.

I've not put them in the freezer, mostly because one of my burners is glass and i am worried about it breaking (its beautiful)

So far I have either let it all melt, poured it out, and tissued off the rest, or let it melt a bit and then slid it out (but sometimes that makes wax spurt out, ouch)
I want to try the freezer method, but there are a few bodies that need disposing of before there's room

Lavvy, the one I stick in the freezer is glass, but it's just the bowl bit of it because it's an electric burner.

I stick it in the freezer or if it is a scent I have just tried and don't like, I just tip it under boiling tap water.

If its a dead tart I tend to pour it into bin or something thats going into the bin but if its tart I dont like I am v ungreen and tend to pop a square of kitchen paper in and mop it up then bin. naughty!

I also put a square of kitchen roll and mop it up. Bad I know

I light a candle under it for about 20 seconds, then sliiiiiide it out with my hands, then use a bit of loo roll/kitchen towel to get the last bits of melted wax out.
